NANO NANO NANO
June 2008

Each summer I teach a course called NANO PUBLISHING at the Ontario College of Art and Design. The course provides a point of entry into local art festivals, independent book and zine communities, retail opportunities and alternative exhibition spaces. Students make zines and artists' multiples and then show and sell them at local venues and fairs.

This summer, there are two opportunities to see what they have made. This year's work, dubbed NANO NANO NANO, will be on display and for sale at This Ain't The Rosedale Library from June 9 - 20 2008. Students will also be exhibiting their work at the BIG on BLOOR Festival, Saturday June 21 2008.

Below is a press release (written by the lovely Cheryl Dipede) containing more specific information about the BIG on BLOOR Festival, including directions to our location for the day. Click HERE to download the PR as a PDF.

Images of the installation at This Ain't The Rosedale Library can be viewed at my FLICKR Page.

After the course ends, student zines will be part of the permanent collections at the Toronto Zine Library and at the OCAD Zine Library. Stop by either of these dynamic collections to see what we've made!
